Marlynne Frierson Cooley is a Cleveland Ohio native. She graduated from the University Of Cincinnati in broadcasting, and has a post-graduate in theater from the University of Akron. She teaches theater, spoken word, and performance techniques for eager students who want to break into Commercials & Television. Aside from teaching, Mrs. Cooley is a professional actress and has been for many years. She has over a decade of acting in theater and film and she is not ready to stop. In fact her journey in the entertainment business has just expanded as she has taken on a role in audio book narration and production. She has completed a total of six audio books thus far. Some of her recent theater credits include “Blessings”, “Supernatural”, and “The Beating” at the “Hollywood Fringe Festival”, “Harriet Tubman one woman show”, school tours and many more plays. In fact the Press Enterprise written an article on her powerful performance as Harriet Tubman. Her recent film credits include: “It’s not Black enough”, “In My mother arms”, “Salesman”, “Nutcracker”, “Spirit Town”, Documentary film “Bound”, “African Vs. African Americans.” Her current project, “Trae Briers “, is still in production. Aside from a busy schedule and an acting career, she always has time for family. She is a loving wife and caring mother to her children.
